Donatello+April 'Ashes of His Memories

I was listening to Ellie Goulding's "Holding On" & as I saw the video I kept imagining Donatello holding unto April... So I sketched it & then sketched it on Manga Studio... I don't know why really, but I love drawing tragic love. So I did it for Donnie & April...

He is in shocked as he rocks her body gently... His logical mind receding to the depths of his grief. He is strong... He whispers, "It's not fair... not you..."

His stares off into his memories with wide eyes... caressing her hair & tightening his hold to her.... remembering her last moment looking into his eyes... His tears pour forth, asking her in a hoarse whisper, "Forgive me, April." Then the memories replay again in his mind.... He whispers, "It's not fair... not you..."
